Three Stages of Care, One Coordinated Experience
Every infusion journey includes several important milestones before, during, and after treatment. We've outlined each stage below so you'll know what to expect and how our team supports you every step of the way.
Pre-Infusion
Before you arrive, we're already preparing for your care.
Our team verifies your insurance, reviews your benefits, explores available financial assistance and manufacturer copay programs, and coordinates every detail needed to begin treatment. Before your first infusion, you'll also meet with one of our providers to review your treatment plan, answer your questions, and ensure you feel informed and confident before starting therapy.
We'll Reach Out and Get Things Started
Our team will contact you to schedule your pre-infusion provider appointment and your infusion appointment. We'll also answer any initial questions and walk you through what to expect before your treatment begins.
Meet With an Advanced Practice Provider (APP)
Before your first infusion, you'll meet with one of our Advanced Practice Providers (APPs) to ensure your treatment is as safe and effective as possible. During this visit, we'll review your medical history, discuss your treatment plan, answer your questions, and confirm that all required labs, screenings, and medication prerequisites have been completed. This helps minimize the risk of adverse reactions and ensures you're ready to begin therapy with confidence.
Infusion Day
After completing your pre-treatment visit, you're ready for infusion day. Here's what to expect during your appointment and how our team will support you throughout your treatment.
Getting Ready for Your Visit
Bring your insurance card, a photo ID, and a list of your current medications. We also recommend drinking plenty of water before your appointment, as well-hydrated veins can make IV placement easier. Unless instructed otherwise, eat a normal meal before your visit.
A Comfortable Space to Recharge
We believe infusion therapy should be as comfortable as possible. Our patients enjoy a quiet, welcoming environment where they can rest, catch up on work, read, or simply take time for themselves during treatment.
Your Care Team Will Be With You Every Step of the Way
An experienced infusion nurse will start your IV, monitor your treatment, and help ensure you're comfortable throughout your visit. A licensed provider is always on site to provide clinical oversight and support whenever needed.
Post-Infusion Follow-Up
Your care doesn't end when your infusion is complete. Before you leave, we'll review any next steps, answer remaining questions, and help coordinate follow-up care so you feel informed and supported moving forward.
We'll Check In After Your Treatment
Your care doesn't end when you leave our infusion center. Following your treatment, a member of our clinical team will check in with you to see how you're doing and ensure you have the support you need.
We Keep Your Providers Informed
We communicate with your referring provider after your treatment, sharing important updates about your infusion and any relevant follow-up information. By keeping your care team connected, we help ensure continuity of care between visits.
Planning Ahead for Future Treatments
If your treatment plan includes ongoing infusions, we'll help coordinate future appointments, verify insurance requirements, and provide reminders along the way. Our goal is to make staying on track with treatment as simple and stress-free as possible.
